Nuclear Power Safety Materials
ZSEM can produce boric acid for nuclear energy safety materials, which is an effective thermal neutron absorber. Therefore, it is essential to the safety and control system of nuclear power plants. Special grade boric acid is used in the nuclear industry, and the proportion of boron 10 is very high. So boric acid is used to stop nuclear reactions and absorb neutrons

Autodesk recognized by Forbes as a Best Employer for Diversity 2023
Since I joined Autodesk as the senior director of global diversity, belonging, and inclusion about a year ago, it's been quite a ride. Reflecting on the progress we've achieved in such a short time fills me with immense inspiration. It’s clear that our journey towards fostering a vibrant, open, and engaged company culture is only just beginning, and I couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been seeing how deeply committed everyone at Autodesk is to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong. We're not just providing jobs; we're giving people the chance to truly thrive. Recently, I was thrilled to learn that our efforts have earned us recognition from Forbes, placing Autodesk at number 22 on its Best Employers for Diversity 2023 list. To top it off, we also ranked first in the software & services category. It’s an honor to be among these distinguished companies, but more importantly, it reinforces our mission to build a workplace that mirrors the diversity of the world around us.
Forbes’ list highlights organizations that are actively working to enhance diversity across every level of their workforce. Our inclusion in this prestigious ranking is a testament to our commitment to fostering an environment where every employee feels valued and empowered. It’s not just about numbers or rankings—it’s about the impact we’re having on individuals and communities.
There are so many exciting initiatives we’ve undertaken recently that I’m incredibly proud of. For instance, we’ve introduced Flex Forward, a bold new strategy aimed at shaping our hybrid-first culture. This initiative ensures inclusivity by enabling us to recruit and retain a diverse talent pool, no matter where they’re located, while maintaining high levels of productivity and engagement.
Another highlight is the groundbreaking launch of the Autodesk Technology Engagement Center at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Thanks to a generous $5 million donation from Autodesk, this facility will feature cutting-edge research labs and an HSI Equity Innovation Hub, dedicated to promoting educational equity and fostering a more diverse workforce.
Our partnership with Howard University is another shining example of our dedication to diversity. With a recent $1 million contribution, we aim to expand their manufacturing facilities and provide additional resources for students. By supporting Howard University, we hope to inspire the next generation of Black engineers and innovators.
We’ve also launched NEXT LEVEL, a leadership development program created in collaboration with our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). The goal? To empower underrepresented people of color into leadership roles. In the past year alone, our ERG program has seen a 40% membership growth, hosted our inaugural ERG leadership summit, and welcomed two new networks: the Autodesk Indigenous Network and the Autodesk MIND Network. These milestones remind us that diversity isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a way of life at Autodesk.
While these achievements are certainly something to celebrate, they’re just the beginning. The journey toward true belonging is ongoing, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that’s committed to making a difference. Every day, I see firsthand how our efforts are creating ripples of change, both within our organization and beyond.
If you’re interested in joining our diverse and dynamic team, there are countless opportunities available worldwide. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting your career, we’d love for you to become part of the Autodesk family.
So, whether you’re browsing LinkedIn, checking job boards, or simply curious about what it means to work at Autodesk, know that you’re stepping into a community where your unique perspective is valued above all else. Here’s to continuing the journey of building a more inclusive future—one where everyone can belong and thrive.
